Looking around for discounts off TurboTax, I found one offered by Fidelity. The nice thing is you do not have to be a Fidelity customer to take advantage!
If you are interested, click here.
And then choose the "Visitor Entry" link.
There may be better deals out there but this is the best I found so far.
But- if you file a 1040EZ- be CAREFUL!!!! You can use TurboTax for free at this link.
If you go direct to TurboTax the 1040EZ is free:
But if you want the 25% discount, the 1040EZ costs $14.95:
I understand that 25% off free is difficult to calculate, but come on. Charging $15 to give a discount off something that you give away for free????
That's just wrong.

Actually, the $14.95 product (Basic) is a different product than the Free product at TurboTax.com. The Basic product has more forms and functionality than the Free product.
I thought you could only file 1040EZ if you did not have any other forms to file. Both the "Free" and the "Basic" are for filers who only need to file 1040EZ. Do you know what 14.95 buys?
In either "Free" or "Basic" you can file a 1040EZ, 1040 and 1040A. There are some forms that Basic supports but Free does not. These include schedules C, D & E. Also Free does not support year over year data transfer or allow you to import your W-2 or 1099.
Thank you for the feedback! I will post an update. I want to look around though and see if the average shopper can easily find the different offerings in each package.
I have always been a little confused about what each tier covers and have assumed that ultimately, whatever you wind up filling out, you get billed for, which makes sense.
Regardless, I totally missed that these were different. The descriptions both say "For simple returns" but they are slightly different.
